Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottom - Men's

Pull on the Patagonia Men's Capilene 3 Bottoms when you know you're going to be working hard in cold weather. Patagonia made these fast-wicking and insulating long underwear bottoms from dense, honeycomb Capilene 3 for morning ski tours or ice climbing. A gusseted crotch allows for easy moving, while a contoured cut and brushed surface make for easy layering. Patagonia's Gladiodor keeps the smell down for multi-day tours.

Bottom Line: Gear up for cold weather with the Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottoms.

good thick layer

I like these alot they are warm and thick, not as delightlfully soft as the silkweight capilene but I wear these on the outside of the silkwieght for warmth when i go into the backcountry. really passes water out fast even when your hiking for days so you dont ever get wet or moist around your cotton balls.

I'm planning a late October hike over 11K in Colorado. I expect temps between 0 and 20. Will this, under a fleece pant, keep me warm enough.

A tiny bit on the pricey side but all is good. They are warm and will keep you warm whether standing still or moving. Would buy again.

I love my Patagonia Capilene 3 bottoms. I'm usually a merino wool type of guy, but these bottoms have proved themselves. I wear them whenever I go out on a cold adventure. I really like to wear them with shorts when I go climbing in the late fall/winter/early spring. They are bomb proof. I've owned them for 4 years now and not one hole and never have I been cold my the nether region. I would move to merino, but these bottoms won't let me. I'm affriad they'd try to strangle me in my sleep if I ever betrayed them. They're tough! I wouldn't mess with em.
