Patagonia Slopestyle Hoody - Men's - 2006
The weatherman says, “Ten-inches expected overnight.” Pull on the Patagonia Men's Slopestyle Hoody and get those skis waxed. This hooded softshell is made for skiing spring corn or just relaxing in town when the snow's not good enough to get you up in the morning. Patagonia made the Slopestyle Hoody from breathable, interlocked polyester bonded to a microfleece interior. This comfortable jacket will work well on days when it's cold in the morning and sunny and mild in the afternoons. The rest of the year, just keep the Slopestyle Hoody in your car for a comfortable jacket to change into after riding all day.
Bottom Line: Keep your cool on spring days in the Patagonia Slopestyle Hoody.

Couldn't decide between an XL or L (I'm 6' 210lbs), went with L, fits perfectly at shoulders but be aware that it is a baggier fit throughout the body, good for layering underneath. Agreed that thumb holes are a good idea but poor design/not very comfortable. Very comfortable, keeps winds out, kept me dry during light rain, have yet to test against the heavier Seattle rain.
Patagonia is a great company!
Stylin Hoody

internal draw strings make it sleek, two zippered stash pockets keep goodies safe, it beads light rain and snow, breaks up wind to keep toasty. Hey if I stay warm when a spring storm rolls in on closing day at Aspen Highlands at 10,000 feet you'll be good anytime the sun shines. This hoody is all I was looking for I just wish I could buy two more, one for everyday, one to keep pristine, and one to drop the Cirque Dykes cliffs all year.
Good Jacket

The jacket is true to size, I usually wear a medium and this fits perfect. I've worn it both snowboarding and around town and it works great, I have gotten a lot of compliments on its looks. My only complaints is for the thumb loops there isn't a lot of material towards the end of the cuff, almost makes it seem like you could rip those out. Also when you have the jacket zipped up and the hood up it would be nice to have something behind the zipper so your mouth doesn't touch the zipper.
go-to hoody

althought it's not quite as comfortable or easy to wear as your standard issue cotton hoody, this thing is very comfortable. And it is much more versatile: the hard surface is good at keeping water and wind out, and the fleece interior keeps you cozy warm. I've worn it skiing in mild conditions, around town, and like to travel with it because it is versatile.
Baggy fit

Good jacket overall. Kind of a cheaper "softshell" that doesn't excel in any particular condition but is good all around in mildly poor weather. The fit however is baggier than I expected. Therefore this piece is more for outwear as it is tough to layer over it like you might with a traditional cotton hoody. However, this slightly baggy fit means you can easily wear a sweater under neath for added warmth. Very nice looking and stylish. Thumb holes are a great idea, but not very comfortable- the fabric there needs to be more stretchy.
My new favorite hoodie

Cool little sweatshirt. It's kind of a sweatshirt/jacket. It's comfortable enough that you can bum around in it at home, and enough of a jacket that you can just throw it over a t-shirt or whatever and go out. Would be good for spring skiing with some underlayers. Fits true to size and is slightly baggy (in a good way).

Really comfy fit and stylish. The exterior material has got a "glossy" finish that really makes you stand out from the crowd. Other than that, its pretty warm can be adapted (with the appropriate layering) for any conditions. Highly recommended.

I ski a lot, and I sweat a lot. This hoodie was my savior. I needed a jacket that let the sweat out more than keeping the rain from getting in. Not a good choice for colder people or skiers in wet climes, but a great option for an over-heated ski bum like me.
This thing RULES!

Just like the other reviews say this is one kickass hoody. I needed something for fall biking and spring skiing, I was going to go with a much more expensive soft shell but this does everything a softshell does, and looks great! The sleeves have thumb holes, the hood is enormous, easily fits a ski helmet, and there are 2 stash pockets for your keys or mp3 player or whatever. The jacket feels thin, but is super warm, its not windproof but does cut the wind. I'll say it again, this is my new favorite hoody! 5 out ot 5 stars easy.
Great all around hoody

My favorite hoody by far. VERY soft interior material feels great on skin and the jacket is cut long enough. The large fits great, similar to a TNF Large, which comes down past the hips. The stash pockets are great, as are the hand pocket hem cord. I have a few gripes though:
1. It is not very waterproof/water resistant. you WILL get soaked in a downpour
2. It doesnt cut the wind like a windstopper
3. The outer material has the potential to get snagged, however not as bad as a fleece.
