My feet + these socks = love at first sight

By: Bryan the Bold (12)

Used these with some nice wool backpacking socks and some brand new boots for over 50 miles with nary a blister. Feel great, breathe well, and all that other lovey-dovey fluff.

Best liner ever

I had thought about not even using liners after the various other kinds I've tried. However these are great and I plan on replacing all my others with these.

so what if they look like church socks

Ok, yea, when I bought these my first thought was "Oh boy, something to make my legs look even whiter" But hey...first of all your gonna be wearin em UNDER other socks. Second of all, these socks ROCK...they're better than the thorlo liner deals and those cheaper liners that rei makes and they do a good job of preventing hot spots) Third of all, whose gonna be lookin at your dam legs anyway?

Great for telemark-touring

By: fred (1)

I bought 3 pairs last season; and liked them so much I got another 3 pairs this season; since I usually go on 6-night tele-touring trips. They show no signs of wear after 100s of miles in Wyoming. They feel much more like my own skin than my old Thorlos. And they feel just as warm as the Thorlos (even at temperatures as low as -10F at twilight; and lower while snowmobiling home in the evening). I'll probably never wear thick socks skiing again.

Patagonia ultra lightweight liner socks

I am not a fan of thick socks! Thick socks can cause blisters and catch on your toenails causing "black toe". If you have a quality pair of hiking boots, you don't need all of that sock padding. Just something to allow your feet to move freely within the boot. These socks breathe well, are easily washed, and quick drying. My favorites!
