Osprey Packs SpaceStation 140 Rolling Gear Bag - 8500cu in - 2008
Any big duffel can hold a ton of gear, but the Osprey SpaceStation 140 Rolling Gear Bag actually helps you get your gear to where you're going. You'll appreciate the wheels when you fill this bag's 8500cu inches to the gills and have to get to the check counter at the airport. Four side handles help you carry the SpaceStation 140 Rolling Gear Bag when the pavement runs out, and Osprey's aluminum frame comes in handy when you need to strap this duffel to the top of a bus.
Bottom Line: Whatever your method of travel, the Osprey SpaceStation 140 Rolling Gear Bag helps you get all the necessities to your destination.

Hello,
Seems like the dimensions from the smaller space station are listed for this "Station." See the 6100 for the 8500 dimensions. Looks like a great bag. Going to order one for a Baja trip.
Is this denier or, as the specs say, nylon?

An addendum to a previous review: Having completed a long range trip I cannot recommend this bag enough. I stuffed this thing to the gills, and it just kept taking more stuff. The side pouches were amazing a storing ready need items without sacrificing interior space. It saw some moderate abuse in that I drug it a half mile through Kuwaiti sand and gravel, and the wheels didn't even hiccup. Flight gear, 10 days of clothes, two coats, a pair of running shoes, and 5 sets of workout gear posed no problems, and I had room to spare. I will caution once again about the 50lb airline imposed limit. When I packed it, it was 77 lbs before I knew it.
SOLID!

Using a tape measure to visualize how big this bag is does not do justice! This is my first Osprey bag, but you can be assured that it's not going to be the last. Fairly light at around 10lbs, be EXTREMELY aware that you are going to blow right by the 50lb limit for the airlines. This bag will hold it all, and wear like iron doing it. I will write an addendum after a near future 10000 mile trip!
