why is this bag so expensive!

Flag

For what type of pack this is, it is pretty pricey. But, if there is any reason why this pack is so expensive, its because you are getting the quality gear that Osprey makes. This pack is going to be an extremely durable pack that is going to have a lot more room then one would think. If you are looking for another great, more technical day pack. Check out the Talon 11. It is currently in stock and is a great technical day pack!!!
