Orage JP Jacket - Men's

Orage let JP Auclair loose on his pro-model jacket, and he designed it to give him all the weather protection he could possibly need even in the season’s most horrendous storms. Thanks to a three-layer fabric and fully taped seams, this Orage jacket packs an impressive 20K waterproof breathable rating. JP also included hand gaiters, waterproof pockets, and an adjustable waist for even more protection from the elements. Oh yeah, and he added fake snake trimmings too.

Bottom Line: JP’s own jacket.

Soooo Sweet!

This jacket is awesome! So far in wet weather the rain beads off the material. Very breathable and it holds in the heat when it is cold. The only thing I don't like is the pit zips not having a meshing. Buy it with the matching color pants to look bad ass.

Do the pit zips have mesh to keep out the pow?

Damn. That's too bad. Any idea why a lot of the higher end jackets don't have mesh lined vents? (and can you recommend one that does)

Even on a whiteout day this jacket pops. Color is great but it sure does pick up dirt. If you are dirty get the brown.

This jacket looks great, fits great, is comfortable and most importantly technical. No need to worry about moisture... getting in or out. Highly breathable and obviously completely waterproof with the highest 20K rating, this jacket doesnt disappoint. iPod pocket perfect for those who keep those headphones in....and plenty of other useful pockets for pass, money, chapstick, wipes....whatever. you get what you pay for

Because it was a different color (orange) it's quite possible there was a slightly different design in it. The picture above of the brown color is exactly what you get. THe jacket you maybe looking for is the Prosper/Retallack guide jacket. It was featured in skiing last month as Best in Test

Sick

By:
December 9, 2008

This jacket is sick. Loose fit, yet high performing such as arcteryx and cloudveil. This is much lighter than my arcteryx stingray and cloudveil Koven Plus. Definitley a baggier free skiing style to it. Looks sick with red JP pants.
