The Outdoor Research Men's Rampart Pants come with full-length separating side sippers, so you can add or remove these shells as weather dictates. You don't want to remove your boots every time a storm cloud brews or the sun comes out for a while. Even if you don't want to stop and remove the Rampart Pants in warmer weather, the zippers allow plenty of ventilation to keep you cool.
