Outdoor Research Alti Mitt - Women's

Outdoor Research designed the Women's Alti Mitts with high-loft insulation for the most brutal conditions—8000m peaks, Arctic expeditions, and Alaska mountaineering. The Alti Mitts' removable liners feature 10oz PrimaLoft on the back of the hand and pile fleece on the palm to increase dexterity without sacrificing warmth. The fully seam-taped, waterproof breathable Ventia shell combines with a long gauntlet for complete moisture protection. Pittards leather palms provide a secure reliable grip on ice tools, ski poles, tent poles, or anything else you work with on the mountain.

Bottom Line: Keep your hands warm through the coldest condition with the Outdoor Research Alti Mitts.

Life-altering gloves!

By:

I love, love, love these mittens!! I have been through 5 pairs of glove/mittens and alway ended up coming in due to freezing hands. Not anymore. I have a vascular problem in my hand and these are the only mittens I have ever found that allow me the life I dream of. I can ski from first chair till last chair and my hands never get cold. I have been able to stay out in the backcountry and never worry anymore about my hand issues. My husband loves me more because I never complain anymore about my hands being cold. Thanks Outdoor Research!!!!

Great for keeping warm!

By:

I ALWAYS have cold hands, so when the temperatures were below freezing, I decided to try the Outdoor Research Alti-Mitt. They are great - The only downside is that they are so bulky. It's kind of a pain to get the mitts through the straps on my poles, but I'd take that any day over painful, frozen fingers!

Altimitts

Superb: well made and extremely warm. My only complaint is that there's no fleece or other soft surface on which to wipe my nose.
