Oakley Feature Mountain Bike Short - Men's

Strap on the Oakley Men's Feature Mountain Bike Short before you head into muddy trail networks known for banked turns and sphincter-clinching downhills. This baggy short features multiple vent scoops to let your junk breathe easy. Superior nylon offers a smooth, rip-resistant finish. Zip your essentials in the Feature's un-obtrusive pockets, shred terra firma, and scrape dried blood off your legs and head to the bar.

Bottom Line: Kills it with style and function.

Ok, fine.

Nice and long for shorts. Nearly cover the knee when standing, very flexible whilst riding. Added benefit of having the "connections" for the standard button in shamois, makes this a really good buy. Don't need a shamois for the rides I have been doing while riding and wearing this short ( 20 miles or less ) but still like them. Sized just a tad large, but that can be a good thing considering some of us ride to eat! YMMV

do these have a waist size adjustment to fine tune the fit?

There isn't any velcro adjustments on the outside of the waist or anything like that, but they do have stretch in the side panels.

If you're looking for that kind of adjustment, look at shorts from Mt. Borah or the elastic magic from ZOIC. Since these Oakley shorts don't have a chamois, you might want to try these:

Great fit. Comfortable. Though the yellow ones are not the most stylish. Very bright and I didn't care for the vents. Great for the price.

Coming back for my 3rd pair

These shorts have become my favorites for everything from riding to hanging around the house. The have an adjustable elastic waistband and hookups for the Oakley underlayer with chamois. The vents are a bit of a waste but I guess the look kinda cool so no big problems there. Super comfortable, fairly lightweight and durable as hell.

First Shorts

These are my first pair of actual mountain bike shorts. No padding, but they are comfortable and light and look cool. Im 6'3 and 205lbs and usually wear a 32 or 34 waist, i got the medium and they fit me just fine. Ill def. be trying some more Oakleys in the future.

These shorts do not have a chamois.

Personally I have a shtik against Oakley, I think they make lousy products at obscene prices (and I've been burned with several products falling apart on me).

Try Sugoi, Fox, or Borah.

Comfortable and relatively lightweight. I can't tell if these vent scoops really work or not because the temps outside have been so perfect this far in the season, but it seems like the shorts would not be overly hot either way. The pockets are nice (the ones on my other Oakley shorts are huge and I think these are more the perfect size. There is one zip pocket on each side for reference). The only downfall is that they don't come with a chamois/liner but if you have another at home, then it's all good.
