I bought a persimmon set to use in low light conditions, specifically when I go shooting and they work great. These lenses do a good job and work fine indoors.
Do you know if the Flak Jacket lens will fit in the Half Jacket
Do you know if the Flak Jacket lens will fit in the Half Jacket frame?

The Flak Jacket lens is ever so slightly larger than the Half Jacket lens, enough where they are not interchangeable. I have a pair of Half Jackets and they broke while I was changing lenses, so I checked at the store before buying the Flak Jackets to see if I could use the lenses that I have in the new frames. Sorry, they don't work. I really like the Flak Jacket though, so I got them anyway. They have really good coverage.

You don't need any tools. It'll probably take you a couple times to get the hang of it and know what you're doing, but it's not hard after that. The main downside of lens changing is that you need to hold the lenses in a way that you're virtually guaranteed to need to clean them immediately after (via microfiber cloth, etc.). If you might be changing lenses daily for some reason, I'd suggest getting a second frame to minimize risk. If rarer -- like just every weekend, or every month -- it's not a big deal.

Not so lucky!

Dude, seriously!! The lens weren't even the right color. I ordered Gold and ya sent me Gray. If that would of been the only problem, I would of considered myself lucky. One lens was scratched, enough that when you shipped them, someone should of noticed. Now,let's not leave the second lens out. That one had a huge chip out of it. The chip that was missing was no where to be found in the box so again, my guess would be someone should of noticed that also. To be fair, I ordered another set of lens from a different company. I wanted to be sure that I wasn't seeing gray instead of gold, but I saw gold on the new pair. So, needless to say, I was not very happy with my first purchase. The second set, you know that ones that I didn't get from you, are wonderful. Maybe next time, ahh!
And can you replace the XLJ lenses with normal one?

Flak Jacket XLJ

The usual Oakley quality, but the XLJ lenses are a little big for those with larger faces. Even with the larger nose pieces, the bottom of the lens was hitting my cheek. Switched to the regular lens in a polarized black iridium, and all is well.
I work construction and have seen many people wearing these all day when safety glasses are required by OSHA. I do too.

I received the right lens but mine were cut differently. The left lens was sitting right on my cheeck bone and the right was sitting above it. I thought I was going crazy, and the rep, thought that I was crazy also. But they shipped out another pair right away.
Overall, I got the right lens and they are in fine condition. Every good on getting your product to you right away.
Thanks,

Will the XLJ lenses fit on a standard Flak Jacket frame? I've got the standard sunglasses, but I want to get more coverage and would like to put the XLJ lenses without having to buy a new frame.

To the best of my knowledge, yes...they will. I was talking with an Oakley rep the other day and he told me that they would fit. I have the XLJ's and they are awesome. Only bad thing is the fact that the Transitions lenses aren't sold seperately yet. Go on Oakley.com and search for a customer service number, they are really cool and will be able to give you a definite answer.
