Oakley Spike Sunglasses - Polarized

The Oakley Polarized Spike Sunglasses feature shatterproof polycarbonate lenses that block glare and a frame made from a strong, lightweight metal alloy that holds up to lots of use and sits comfortably on your face. Polarized lenses eliminate the sun's rays that bounce off flat surfaces such as snowy slopes or still lakes on blue-sky days. An iridium coating enhances contrast and definition. The metal frames with nosepieces allow you to bend them for adjustability. Oakley's Unobtainium arm pads maintain their grip, even as you sweat. Curved to shade your peripheral vision, these lenses protect your eyes from every angle.

Bottom Line: The Oakley Polarized Spike Sunglasses protect your eyes no matter what you're doing under the sun.

Great Glasses! (just be gentle)

I collect Oakley merch and many of my glasses don't leave my display cases. In this case though I have four versions of these glasses and wear one. I love the look, classic design & full coverage of these but there are small 'flaws' that keep them from being my first choice in being worn daily. First, even when brand new, fresh out of the box, the arms will probably have minor scratches from the metal arms rubbing together. They're on the inside of the arms and will generally wipe away with your finger but it's an indication of what may come. Second, if you carry these around a lot without a solid case (just in their microfiber bag) or, if the arms just get old and loose from wear, the little metal tabs on the arms that keep them from folding all the way into the lenses wear down. This means that when the arms are closed, the tips can hit and scratch the lenses. Don't get me wrong, I love these glasses (I have four pairs, remember?), you just have to be a little gentle with them (as with most metal frame glasses). Hey, with the great warranty and customer service from Oakley you can't go wrong! Go for it!
