Oakley Wisdom Goggle Replacement Lenses

Oakley Wisdom Goggle Replacement Lenses allow you to customize to any condition on the hill. From blazing bluebird days to the dark depths of a 4-day blizzard, you'll find a lens to protect your eyes while revealing every hidden feature on the hill. An eye bunker for ice storms, the Wisdom's amplified lens dimensions extend the range of peripheral and downward vision beyond those of conventional goggles.

Bottom Line: If you're not so good about putting your goggles away in their stow bag, or just want to customize to the day's conditions, replacement lenses are the call.

these goggles and lens are wonderful. I have put my head in the snow a couple of times and they don't fog up.

Excellent for those bluebird days. Worth buying a second pair of Wisdom's just for the lenses.

Persimmon, very versatile!

I have the Wisdoms in two lens colors: Fire and Persimmon. Fire looks awesome and is definitely the goggle to sport on a sunny day. However the Persimmon lens is nothing but simply amazing. They are great on any days that aren't blue bird. They amplify light at night and just flat out rock. The switching out of the lens takes a little time to get used to. Not the easiest thing to do but once you get it, you should be okay.

Fire, great on bright sunny days

By: Blizzboy283(2)

I have the Wisdoms in a fire lens and a persimmon lens. The fire is awesome on sunny days but in the shadows at the end of the day it is pretty hard to see well.

exchanged black iridium for fire iridium lens

By: frankramo777(2)

since i got the persimmon lens w/ the purchase of the wisdoms, i felt like the black iridium was too close in tint and appearance as the persimmon. i chose the fire iridium as my sunny day lens for the wisdoms as we a ton of sunny days. oakleys vent well and do a great job of shading the eye. the main drawback is the fragility of the anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens, try to clean it while wet or fogged and you ruin the lens.

REPLACEMENT GOGGLE LENSES

By: CLIFFMAN 420(1)
February 4, 2006

These lenses (yellow/blue) are great for riding when it's cloudy or snowing. The ability to see the changes in terrain are incredible. I also have the gold iridium and they're nice when it's a bluebird day. Get the best of both worlds with two different lenses.

I have used the Oakley Wisdom lenses for three winters in all types of conditions and the Blue Iridium is definitely the best all around. Great in flat light, awesome in the trees, and they are always durable.

Replacement Lenses

These lenses are great for those gnarly days with low lighting or heavy snow. They’re also really cool at night if you can ride where they have lights. You must take your time to pop these puppies in. And please use your goggle bag to wipe them down.

Gotta love it...

I bought the Oakley Wisdoms with the fire iridium lenses four years ago, and I now think it’s the time to change the lens because of deep scratches. I’m not sure what the other reviews about difficulty of changing the lenses are talking about. It’s a simple matter of popping out the little things, then just popping everything back in, anyway it’s a great lens, wouldn’t go any other way.

Best goggles ever.

By: SnowBlower(0)

I use these for snowboarding and snowmobiling in the backcountry of the central and northern Sierra's. These goggles, especially the high intensity, for low-light and flat-light conditions, are by far the best goggle I have ever used. Normally in flat light conditions it is difficult to judge differences in terrain, these goggles make the difference. Of course you have to pay a premium for this, but I think its well worth it.

H.I. Blue -- Best for flat light

By: Angel(5)
March 11, 2005

I bought this lens to replace a HI Persimmon because I wanted even more contrast in flat light. I was not disappointed. I haven't found another lens that is as good in overcast or snowy days. I agree w. Flynn's review. It's not easy to switch lenses. I wouldn't switch lenses while on the mountain.

Ski with sight not braille...

By: Jones(4)

The "High Intensity" lens from Oakley is the best flatlight eyewear I have used to date. It brings contrast to broken suface conditions. The lens will allow you make out subtle differences in untracked snow so that you don't float off into space with vertigo.

Great Lenses

By: Flynn(3)
April 10, 2004

The lenses are hard enough to take out and put in that you will think twice before changing them, however they are very secure once set in place. They are great looking (although flashy) and are tinted enough that both full sun and low ceiling are comfortable. Be prepared to pay for Oakley clarity.
