Nitro Blacklight Snowboard

Riding the Nitro Blacklight Snowboard leaves you with the same mind-numbing impression you felt listening to acid rock in your college dorm room… except that on this Nitro all mountain snowboard, time moves way faster. This directional twin freestyle snowboard features Nitro's Powerlite core that gives you more pop than a parent concerned with underage drinking. Nitro's new Tri-Lite construction uses tuned fiberglass to reinforce the Blacklight's torsion control and reduce overall weight. A progressive sidecut cuts lines like a razor-wielding maniac, and reduced swing weight helps you spin like a hippy kid surrounded by blacklight posters. Nitro's blindingly fast nano-bonded FX Smartbase accelerates your comedown… the mountain, that is.

Bottom Line: Turn on Nitro's Blacklight, get higher, spin harder, and shred nastier.

Shake up

By:
August 1, 2008

The blacklight is a very good all terrain board. This deck replaces the suprateam. It's softer and little bit more wide.If you know the shadow and the suprateam, it's a very shake up. Very good polyvalent board for good riders.

Anybody looking for the supra team, here it is for the 08-09 season.....but Nitro has made it better and called it something better....introducing the Blacklight....same overall shape as the supra team but has an awesome new base....its called the fx base....this base doesn't require any attention....you don't have to wax it....and its a lot faster than the old supra team base.....this board does it all at a very fast aggressive level....finally a board that gets on it when you decide you want to go.....

Best all mtn freestyle board

By:
July 21, 2008

This was by far my most favorite all mtn freestyle boards I demoed last season. The Blacklight is an updated Suprateam and it's better in every way. Softer, with more POP a better FX Base and a mid wide so it's perfect for size 10 boots like I have. I rode this board in CO when there was 8inches of fresh and it plowed through everything. Hit the park on after the trees and it held it's own on big jumps and even on a couple rails. I can't say enough good things about this board. If you're looking at Burton, Rome, Ride or K2 give a good look at the Nitro Blacklight.

Perfect Deck

By:

This board is the perfect deck. I love it and just picked up the 160. I'm a big guy that likes to ride the entire mountain. I'm 6'2, 220lbs and have a size 11 boot and the 160 rode like a dream. The board floats nicely with the mid wide waist of 25.6 and it had amazing pop. Give this board a look if you want something that can do it all.
