Northwave Bike Vertigo Cycling Shoe - Women's
Performance becomes affordable with the three-strap, carbon-reinforced Northwave Women's Vertigo Cycling Shoe. The Airmesh upper allows your foot to breathe in hot weather, without succumbing to power-robbing stretch, and the injected heel counter adds stability for long rides. The Vertigo's rubber sole absorbs the shock of rough road surfaces, and contains carbon particles to add stiffness and reduce weight.
Bottom Line: Step into the Vertigo, and step up to Northwave cycling performance.

This is a three-bolt shoe, you'll need some three-hole adapters from Crank Brothers in addition to the cleats. Backcountry doesn't stock those, so you'll have to go to your local bike shop or look around online.
It'd also be more simple to get a true SPD shoe with 2-bolt design. Sidi and Lake both make my favorite shoes, here are some suggestions:

Don't forget the cleats, and read the description to pick which one you want:

You can use these shoes for spinning class as long as you get compatible cleats (which depend upon the pedals that are on the spinning bikes).
If you're expected to provide your own clipless pedals, these shoes will work great with my favorite pedals, the Crank Bros. Quattro.

Is it a bad idea to get mountain biking shoes if I am going to be doing mostly road biking? I will be doing both and don't want to have to buy two pairs of shoes.
What is your best suggestion? Or do I really need two pairs of shoes?

You can use mt. biking shoes for road riding but, because of the slick sole on road shoes I would not recommend road shoes for mt. biking. the only drawback on mt. bike shoes is that there is often more material at the toe of the shoe and depending on your set up when turning your front wheel your tire can actually end up rubbing on your the toe of shoe when your pedals are horizontal. It hasn't turned out to be a big problem for me because unless you are going really slow you usually are not turning sharp enough to make this happen.
