Northwave Bike Vertigo SBS Cycling Shoes - Men's

The Northwave Men's Vertigo SBS Road Cycling Shoe works through several channels to transfer force effectively, minimize wasted energy, and maximize comfort. Northwave gave this high-performance shoe a fiberglass-filled nylon sole enriched with carbon powder for stiffness and better pedal feel—doughy freshman feet, beware. The Vertigo uses Northwave's patented Step By Step buckle, which not only lets you micro-adjust the tightness (see silver piece), it allows you to release pressure in equally small increments (see yellow piece), so you experience a custom fit. I wish I had an easier answer for you other than you need to try both on. Most people I know find Northwave fairly comparable to Pearl Izumi, but really, every single shoe has a different cut. Yes, even within the same model line from a manufacturer. It's an inherit flaw of shoe-making.

Except for Crocs. But those things suck.

Because Backcountry has a killer return policy, you can order both and simply return the one that doesn't fit.

No, shoes do not come with pedals. When you buy some pedals, they will come with the appropriate cleat that will attach to the shoes.
