Northwave Bike Vertigo Carbon Cycling Shoe - Men's
Northwave created the Men's Vertigo Carbon Shoe for advanced road cyclists who crave the benefits of carbon fiber, but can't afford to chop off another limb or put the house in hock again. The ingenious solution comes in the form of a soleplate woven from both carbon and fiberglass, to reduce weight and add stiffness without sending the price skyrocketing into the stratosphere. The Vertigo Carbon holds your foot in with triple hook-and-loop straps, and keeps you hammering with heat-sinking mesh panels.
Bottom Line: The Vertigo Carbon Shoe's affordable performance is a rarity in road cycling.

Does this shoe run true to size? I wear a US 14, and I am worried that a 48 may not be large enough.
Thanks!

The shoes are relatively true to size, but keep in mind Backcountry.com's killer return policy. If they don't fit, just return them. No questions asked.
Most road shoe makers don't go any larger than a 48, so you might want to try Sidi's mega sizes. Backcountry doesn't stock those, but find a local Sidi dealer and they'll take good care of you.
