NiteRider MiNewt Mini-USB Plus Bike Light

You gotta love the NiteRider MiNewt Mini-USB Plus Bike Light ‘cause it’s the first bike light you can recharge either from the USB port of your PC or any wall outlet. The MiNewt Mini-USB has a Li-ion battery and you can easily mount this little beacon just about wherever you want. The MiNewt Mini weighs just over 6oz (175g) but it is no lightweight when it comes to power with its LED producing over 110 lumens for up to 3 hours. Included with your purchase is a 4.5-hr Smart Charger, handlebar mount (fitting up to 31.8mm bar), helmet mount, and a 36-in extension cable.

Bottom Line: If you are a Night Rider, you gotta see where you are going!

Power-Packed Minimalist LED System

By:

NiteRider makes the toughest, most efficient LED systems available. Period. This means more lighting power for a longer period for less bulk & weight. I have spent a lot of time researching "Real" LED systems for my helmet and the MiNewt is the best value I have found. The 80gm head is barely noticable on my helmet and 110 lumens is plenty of brightness for most trail rideing when paired with a decent handlebar system.

The NiteRider Minewt Mini USB Plus Is a great helmet mount light. For some double track and some less technical single track that is all you need for lights. As for area covered a safe bet would be 25-75 feet and that all depends on a couple variables. It a 110 lummens brighter than most of the old turbo cat lights.
