Nordica Speedmachine 14 Ski Boot - Men's
The Nordica Men's Speedmachine 14 Ski Boot's stiff 130-120 flex helps you drive and turn your skis with precise control, so you're aggressive ski style won't land you in a tree well. The Speedmachine flex adjuster has two modes—the hard mode handles tight turns on ice and hard-pack, and the soft option gives you more flexibility for off-piste descents. The thermo-moldable liner and bi-injected design gives your feet total support throughout your turns and keeps your feet comfy, so they don't feel like they've been squeezed in a vise all day.
Bottom Line: Unleash your speed demon with Nordica's Speedmachine 14 Ski Boots.

I skied this boot for about 4 years, and loved it. Incredibly responsive. I tried the BD Factor for A.T. and inbounds. I'm going back to the Nordica. With the great flex, soft and hard mode, it's ideal for on/off piste, and short skins.
Big thumbs up.
A thermomoldable liner is heated up, then you insert your foot. As it cools it shapes its self to fit your foot.

Great fit for my feet!

I've used these boots for about half the season now and I have no major complaints. They are MUCH better than my old boots because they actually fit my narrow feet! The width is perfect if you have narrow feet. It probably helps that this is only the 2nd ski boot I have ever owned and I did some research regarding proper boot fit this time. I also got the Inuition heat-moldable liners and custom foot-beds which really helps. They don't seem that stiff too me which I actually prefer, but again, I don't have much experience with other boots. I also mostly ski in 'soft' mode rather than 'hard' mode, which makes a difference. I got a fantastic deal which made it even that much better.
I tried on the Nordica Speedmachine 14, but it was way too narrow
I tried on the Nordica Speedmachine 14, but it was way too narrow for my food. Is there another boot you could suggest that will provide the same performance, but wider?

Yes, the Dalbello Proton 12. It is about the same in flex, but wider and has great performance for wider, higher volume feet.
