Nordica Zero Alpine Ski

Nordica Zero Alpine Ski
Achieve zen-like balance, bird-like flotation, and pornstar curve when you ski the Nordica Zero Ski. This new school true twin punishes the backcountry and park like a couple of misbehaved children. Equally-weighted tip and tail make spinning and riding switch a cake walk, while ample underfoot and sexy curve help you carve a capital “P” in the powder without getting sucked under.
Bottom Line: Be a hero, get with the Zero.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

I need a ski that excels in powder, trees, and backcountry, but a ski that is flexy, wide, and playful. Is this my ski?

They are nice ski but i like the enforcer or the blower, the kirsh next year, over these. both of the other skis turn a lot better and set an edge better, but still have enough under foot 94mm and 110mm respectively

I'm an experienced skier and i'm trying to decide between these and the k2 coomba's. I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs. if i were to get these should i go with the 77 or 84. i love skiing powder but also love the trees and hitting the bumps. i demo'd the k2s and i liked the 181s. what should i get.

It kinda is a different ski than the Coomba, which is a directional ski, and feels truer to size. This is a twin tip, so it will feel shorter than the 184, which is the size I would say to get for a guy your size. Personally I would recommend the Coomba, just because I love the performance of it, but if you want a twin tip than this is a pretty good one, with a kind of similar flex.

Awesome skis, really sick. But the only thing is mine got mounted backwards so specify that. Also next years top sheet is really sick so if you don't like this one. Wait a year. But if you are looking for a pow ski / jib ski this is it. It does it all with no effort. I ride big mountain and they make me feel like I am floating. And they are sick in the park to.
Anyone tried mounting these with tele bindings? or have any idea

I haven't tried the zero's with tele, but i don't know how well it would ski. They are nice skis, good in the park, but a little slow on the hardpack. The nordica Enforcer is only a little bit skinnier, 94mm to the zero's 104, but is awesome in all kinds of snow. For a tele setup I would recomend the enforcer over the zero.

they are not to heavy if you are looking for a touring ski these would get the job done. And be a ski you could bring on the mountain to. But if you are looking for something backcountry specific I would get something lighter and not so jibby. But if you and your friends are going out and building jumps in the backcountry and you have to hike for it I could not think of a better ski for that.

Is this ski good for intermediate level skiers?

this is not an intermediate ski, its not super stiff, but the size of would make it too much for an intermediate skier to get on edge. and its not too bad in the park but thats not what its made for
