Nordica Ignition Alpine Ski
Nordica Ignition Alpine Ski
Heat it up in the park and pipe with Nordica's Ignition Alpine Ski. A laminate sidewall construction gives this twintip ski bomber durability throughout the season. Using a flex soft enough for the park and stable enough to stomp a switch landing in powder, the Ignition Alpine Ski lights up all over the mountain. With a 84mm waist and 122mm shovel, this Nordica ski snaps with every turn, and the sintered graphite base won't have you cringing over every rock and root scrape.
Bottom Line: While other skiers are just getting warmed up, you'll be blazing ahead on the Nordica Ignition Alpine Skis.

I ski in the east, and im lookin for a park, backcountry, and groomer ski that can take anything I throw at it. Im skiing on some 07 K2 fujatives (152), and they're a great ski, but I want a little wider ski so I can take on all the pow that gets dumped up east, but still have a ski that can stomp all my landings in the park. Should I look at the 162 model of these?

I'm personally not a fan of Fischer/Noridca skis, mostly because I find them to not ride dynamically enough through big mountain/backcountry/crud.
Rossignol makes my absolute favorite skis, and if you're wanting to pick up one of last years deals, I highly recommend the Scratch Brigade or Scratch Screamin' to hack through everything you're wanting to do.

If you can hold your pants til' this years skis come out, the Rossignol S3 Pommier hits the shelves, you'd absolutely love that ski. It's not as quick as some of my other backcountry skis, but some Zardoz NotWax (100% liquid Teflon) took care of those issues, and I was able to tear down just about anything on the mountain.

The Rossi pricing gods declare that these planks will run ~$500 at MAP, MSRP of $650 (most big retailers like Backcountry, REI, etc. charge MAP on skis to be competitive).
