Step it pon Nordica Jah Love Alpine Ski, stir up some powder turns on Mount Zion, and experience the irie bliss of 140mm underfoot. The Jah Love’s massive dimensions mean you’ll have no more troubles staying high in the pow. This ultra-fat twin features a wood core that provides a snappy, responsive feel and nothing but positive vibrations whether you’re skanking it easy or hitting a bumboclot one drop.
Bottom Line: Jah Rastafari! Ever ripping, ever deep.

What is the camber on these skis? Are they traditional camber, reverse camber (Hellbent style), or 5-D camber (Volkl Kura, Rossi S7, or Armada ARG)?

According to some other sites it has zero camber. So none of the above.

According to EVO, Altrec, and Nordica's own site, these skis have zero camber. So try comparing with narrower zero cambers like the nordica zeros or volkl katanas.

Viva La Bombaclot!

A. Yes I'm Aware what Bombaclot means, However I have no idea what hitting a bombaclot drop is supposed to mean.
B. I could be wrong, but I think my spelling is the correct form.
C. These are NOT twin tips, the product writer has obviously never first-hand seen a pair.
Issues aside, as the product description says, you really do snap into the irie bliss of a 140mm underfoot. These ultra-fatties are meant for one purpose - bottomless powder days in the front and side country. Considering the size, they're full of pop and surprisingly nimble. You will find yourself in nirvana in an open powder bowl after a huge dump with the jahs. Long tours in the BC aren't much of an option as these boys are heavy (I have no idea how someone could think mounting these with dukes wouldn't make an absurdly heavy package.)
The important thing to realize is this is not an all mountain ski. This should be a niche model within your ski quiver mucho grande powder. Keep 'em in the deep, and it'll be easy skanking for all.
i am 100 percent positive that the jah love is not a twin. Please

Rip the Pow

I've got a pair of these in 183 mounted with Marker Dukes. They are so wide I had to remove the brakearms (their so called 132mm brakes were not even close). I have only skied them in blower fresh backcountry conditions, because that is what they are made for--so none of you JONGs should ask me "how are they on groomers" or "what about bumps?" These skis have no speed limit and absolutely fly on the deep stuff. They have just enough side cut to offer easy turn initiation, but are not twitchy at speed. Relatively stiff, but even flex pattern from end to end keep them really predictable. The only gripe I have is the weight. Who would of thought this ski mounted with Dukes and 140mm skins would be so heavy? They kicked my butt on a 4500ft vertical tour.
FYI, in the description of this ski you use the word bombaclot.
FYI, in the description of this ski you use the word bombaclot. Do you guys know that this is another name for a used tampon or a real nasty work for the female reproductive organ?

I think they do, given the attempt at Jamaican vernacular.

Personally, I would have guessed a throwback to Grand Theft Auto IV with the Niko's Jamaican drug dealer friend. That guy used the term bombaclot constantly throwing it around in a variety of situations, none of which were targeted as references to women's troubles.

fat, but maybe too fat
By: Adam

there have been many reviews saying these skis are amazing, but at the same time maybe too fat. let me clarify, when using these fatty's in some deep pow they could possibly be the nicest skis ever but once some cliffs are being dropped you may notice that the powder your dropping on isnt as soft as your other skis in the past are; this is because of the huge demensions and such a large surface area that its pretty similiar as landings in the park. so before purchaseing these, consider the terrain you'll be skiing. whether it be big mountain and huge turns, or mainly cliffs. try going down to your local shop for some more tips or even a skinnier ski (ex: the k2 hellbent). get the facts, not just a ski based on graphics.
however this is still a great ski, and should be purchased here because of the cheap price

I've never owned a pair of Nordicas. I've definitely never owned a pair of skis this big. How do you guys think these would be for an everyday ski?

not good for an every day ski....really a powder only ski......go for something with a 90 or 100mm waist at the widest for an everyday ski...volkl mantra, line prophet 90 or 100,salomon lord would be good examples ---------------------------If you are looking at a really fat everyday ski check out the k2 Hellbent.

Walk into a store, and hold a plank in your hands and ask yourself if they're too big. If you can only find them online, take a ruler and mark off the tip, tail, and waist. As jay said, these things are water skis for snow, intended for bottomless powder days far, far away from the east coast. I loved mine but only took them out 4-5 times last year because they fill a very narrow niche.

Why would you buy these skis for "normal" slopes. They are water skis for snow - meant to be skied in depths deep enough to drown in. This does not look lke a one-quiver ski to me...
