Nidecker Act1 Carbon Snowboard Binding

Ever wonder what your bindings are doing down there? Not if you rip lines in Nidecker's Act1 Carbon Bindings. With its carbon-infused baseplate and contoured heelcup, this lightweight freeride set-up gives you direct response, so your input transfers smoothly and immediately into your board. These stiff-flex bindings' strong nylon highbacks adjust easily to your desired forward lean, and the Act1's heelcup features shock absorber plugs to squelch the hurt when you land short. The puffy ankle strap supports and cushions, and the toe strap provides a gapless fit.

Bottom Line: Nidecker's Act1 Carbon Bindings give you freeride stiffness while sparing you unnecessary weight.

This binding was fantastic!

I got to rock these on a Megalite this year on a 20" day, and let me tell you, comfortable, responsive, and they let you feel your stance and the board so naturally. I rode these for most of the day and I have to say very impressed.

Act 1 Carbon binding

We have been riding these bindings every day since receipt. It is a great binding. It is tight and stays glued to the deck. My one complaint is the loose heel plate. It flops down constantly and you must reposition it every time you get into the binding. Especially bitchy in high wind. We have tried tightening the hex bolt but it still flops when the bolt is maxed out. It also appears to be getting looser with use and wearing a larger hole at the point of connection. One other note. I have big feet and even using the toe strap as a cross over, I am about maxed for catching the strap. A slightly larger strap may be in order for the XL. Thanks Brad Carlson Stratton Mountain Vermont

Exceptional

I rode these at a demo last year & bought them as soon as I could this year. They are a stiff binding with a super stiff carbon honeycomb highback (not Nylon as stated up top). The response is ridiculously precise & the Lds pad makes for a smooth ride. Also ultra adjustable to make it real easy to center your boot on the board. Size 9 should go with the S/m.
