MontBell America, Inc. U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #3 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down

The MontBell U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #3 30-Degree Down Sleeping Bag lives for chilly nights during shoulder season backpacking trips. At a measly 1lb 7oz, you'll hardly notice this 800-fill down sleeping bag in your pack, but boy will you be glad when you slip inside. MontBell's U.L. Super Stretch Hugger design encases you in a down cocoon, stretching to eliminate heat-stealing dead-air space. Multi-Box baffle construction evenly distributes the down and helps maintain loft, and a Polkatex DWR treatment shrugs off moisture. Shorter sleepers can cinch down the foot adjuster to keep their feet warm.

Bottom Line: The MontBell Super Stretch Hugger #3—stretchy warmth for 3-season backpacking.

Great bag if you have the cash

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the bag. I would put the temperature rating more like 35 but obviously that is a fairly personal thing. The stretch baffles do make a world of difference as the bag will move with you and then contract back down to minimize dead space. Packability is as advertised with not too much effort needed to get the bag packed down. I would say that this bag compares favorably with others in its weight and temperature class. The only other bags that would come close would be Western Mountaineering and they are a little more expensive. If you really "need" something that is superlight and will still keep you warm this is a great way to go if you can afford to shell out that kind of money on a bag.
