Mary Janes Farm Organic Garlic Pesto Fry Bread - 2007
This was one of Mary Jane's first backcountry food inventions. This bread mix comes in a tall durable zip-lock bag. You add the water and knead the bag with your hands until it's thoroughly mixed. Next, you cut off a corner of the bag and squeeze small dollops of bread into a hot skillet. It's easy and quick. Picture yourself next to a lake taking in the smell of hot bread, garlic and basil. Eating these warm little breads is heavenly.
Bottom Line: Delectable backcountry cuisine.

Very very good food. Just watch it. make sure you have a pan with decent heat dispersal. I tried cooking some in my MSR pot (thin walled stainless pot) over my Jetboil. and it just burned in the middle. The Bread is awesome when properly made :)

Being a vegetarian I have a hard time finding healthy good tasting backpacking food. I have tried everything that Mary Jane Farms have to offer, all of it is delicious.
