I am looking for a mens jacket which is very warm, waist length,can be worn in car or indoors without being too hot ( must be able to breathe),not too bulky, and have a zip front.Also wind resistant.

Check out Outdoor Research Credo Jacket. It's really comfortable in the city or in the mountains. Windproof on the outside with a light fleece on the inside.

Also, check out any number of air permeable softshells on the market. Two from Mountain Hardwear would be the Android Jacket and the Offwidth Jacket. Hope this helps.
