Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 3 Tent 3-Person 3-Season
Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 3 Tent 3-Person 3-Season
The Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 3 Tent's clean lines and functional design has found a following among both beginning campers and seasoned backpackers. With a slight departure from the standard dome design, the Light Wedge 3 Tent includes a brow pole over the door that increases vestibule space, so you have plenty of room for gear storage on a rainy night. Internal mesh pockets give you place to stash your small items when you settle into this Mountain Hardwear tent. If you want to go really light, pitch the vestibule with the Light Wedge 3 Footprint (available separately) and leave the main body at home.
Bottom Line: Time-tested design.

AHHH. I am so confused. I camp with my partner and we are both pretty tall guys. 6'5" and 6'3. We were both more than comfortable in the previous tent we have owned - a Eureka Spitfire 2. Now that the 90lb Golden Retriever came along that isn't the case. I have been looking at this tent as well as the Mountain Hardwear Hammerhead 3. I'm not entirely concerned about weight since we try not to backpack with the dog. Should I go with this tent or the Hammerhead 3? There are so many conflicting reviews that I am stuck between a rock and hard place. :\ Help! Thanks.

Tough. If you take the dog... look for a 4 person tent. If you want the bigger of the two between the Hammerhead 3 and this Light Wedge 3... go with the Hammerhead 3! Hope this helps.

I know that Backcountry stocks some spare parts but if you can't find what you need I would contact Mountain Hardwear directly for the small stuff... Hope this helps.
