Mountain Hardwear Sunrise 50 Sleeping Bag: 50 Degree Down

Desert nights can be chilly, but not that chilly. So why take more than you need? Leave your cold-weather bag at home and take the Mountain Hardwear Sunrise Sleeping Bag on your backpacking trip in Arizona's Superstition Mountains. This cozy 50-degree down bag compresses easily and weighs less than a couple of pounds. Mountain Hardwear gave the Sunrise a roomy toe box so your feet can rest in their natural position. Dual zipper sliders let you vent should the night be warmer than expected. Zip-together compatibility lets you steal some of your significant other's body heat on cold nights.

Bottom Line: Rest easy in the backcountry inside your Sunrise Sleeping Bag.

Marmot 50 Degree Sunrise Bag

Bag is great. Light weight and compresses very small. Comes with a nice net storage bag. 50 degree rating is accurate. I'm very satisfied.

If I'm 6 foot on the dot should I go for the regular or the long bag?

I am 6 foot .5 inches. I fit a regular size - 6 foot bag without any problems. I would stick with a regular.

This all depends on how & what you sleep with, e.g. extra clothes, fuel canister, etc. For your size I'd order the regular. It has less volume to warm up.
