Mountain Hardwear Quark Jacket - Women's
To put it simply, the Mountain Hardwear Women's Quark Jacket shames other ultralight technical shells. This extremely waterproof breathable jacket employs only a soft tricot lining and a Conduit laminate for an unprecedented light weight and backcountry readiness. At an unbelievable 9oz, the Quark Jacket practically floats in your pack, but it seals out alpine precipitation with a no-nonsense 20K-rated waterproof coating and welded seams. This featherweight shell has all the features required for comfort on ski tours or mountaineering pursuits, including superlight welded pitzips, a roll-away hood, and articulated sleeves. What the Quark lacks? Bulky shell fabric and the weight that comes with it.
Bottom Line: The Mountain Hardwear Quark Jacket redefines ultralight shell.

It's got "give!" So, yes it is a little stretchy. Also, due to the fact that it is welded together the stretch is maintained through the entire jacket. Welded seams stretch... sewn seams don't. It is an amazing piece.
