The knees and the butt are reinforced with a burlier fabric... the rest of the pants are made with a super light 15D nylon. They are not insulated with down... but, with a proprietary synthetic insulation from Mountain Hardwear called Thermic Micro. It is very light and very down-like in feel. Hope this helps!

Hi there, would you have compressor pant in woman's version? Or do they make them only in men's? How much would postage to Australia cost please? Thank you Jarmila

Not sure that there'd be a big difference in a women's specific pant. I use these pants for alpine climbs and hunkering down at camp and am very happy with them, the full side zip make them easy to get on and off--just size them appropriately. I gaffed and ordered a medium and should definitely have a small (woman's size 6)
