Mountain Hardwear stuffed the Women's Lamina 20 Synthetic Sleeping Bag with its proprietary Thermic Micro insulation, which is high-loft yet compressible like down. Mountain Hardwear welded the synthetic insulation to the bag to enhance the loft. High-loft insulation effectively holds onto your body heat to keep you toasty. This unique welded construction also eliminates cold spots because the insulation can't shift around, and it makes the bag durable so it stands up to repeated washing and stuffing. Unlike down-filled bags, the Lamina 20-degree Fahrenheit sleeping bag will keep you warm even if it were to get wet. But a DWR coating on the shell repels water, and the soft polyester lining wicks moisture away from you, so you'll stay dry in most conditions.
