Mountain Hardwear Piute 20 Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Down

The Mountain Hardwear Piute 20 Down is a lightweight sleeping bag for your camping and backpacking trips. The 600-fill down keeps you toasty on those chilly backcountry nights—tight baffling prevents cold spots. Mountain Hardwear's Comfort Footbox allows your feet to rest in their natural position, so you sleep more comfortably. Single-handed draw cords let you easily cinch the hood and collar around your head for added warmth. The Piute 20-degree Fahrenheit sleeping bag also has tie-in loops that hold a liner in place—a liner adds a few degrees of warmth to your bag.

Bottom Line: If you buy only one sleeping bag for your backcountry adventures, make it the lightweight Mountain Hardwear Piute 20 Down.

Kick butt bag!

On Rainier we were gettin' pounded with 60 mile an hour wind gusts and I was chilled to the bones. Hoped in this bag and was warm and slept the night through within minutes. Super light and provided enough room to move around a bit.

Really good bag!!

I'm 6' tall and needed the long for a little added room because I don't like to feel confined when I sleep. I slept great in this bag for two nights in the Rockies. The first night was in the low to mid 20s and I was pretty warm. The second night was warmer (mid 30s), and so was I. If I had not been so tired, I would have shed my lightweight thermals and opted for sleeping in my underwear only. Instead I just unzipped the bag a little and went back to sleep. Overall, it was a great buy since it packs small, is roomy enough for me and is lightweight.

Mountain Hardware will never do you wrong!

I didn't think having a women's bag would make much of a difference but it really does! My feet are always cold in mens bags but in this bag my feet stayed nice and toasty! The only thing I don't like about this bag is that the chest is really roomy. It's a plus because there is a lot of room to move around, but it doesn't warm you up as fast. Over all I would say it is an amazing sleeping bag and I love it!

packs pretty small

This bag packs much smaller than my synthetic 20F. My friend was nice and warm at 32F. The regular is enough for him at 5'8".

This is a great sleeping bag. I have used it in 20 degree weather with a t shirt and shorts and was comfortable, i never have zipper problems and when it gets wet it dries out very quickly
