Mountain Hardwear Huckster Backpack - 1200cu in - 2007

Pack your essential touring gear in Mountain Hardwear's Huckster Backpack, and head out for your dawn patrol. A trampoline back panel helps keep your back cool as you skin up the trail, and the Huckster's dual density shoulder straps and waist-belt secure this daypack on your way down. Store your shovel, probe and skins in Mountain Hardwear's gear pocket for quick access, and use the A-frame ski carry when you have to post hole up a coulour. The Huckster Backpack's two zippered mesh pockets organize your sunglasses and keys, the hydration sleeve in the back panel holds your water reservoir, and an insulated hose sleeve in the shoulder strap keeps your water from freezing.

The straps fit pretty much every ski available, including the fat ones. The fit is good on me, 6'1", so you could get away with it for sure.

It's not mentioned in the Tech Specs, but you can carry skis diagonally as well. The snap at the top of the loop will free it so you can stuff the tails of your skis in there.
