Mountain Hardwear Runout Pant - Men's

The relaxed-fit Mountain Hardwear Men's Runout Pants are a burly barrier between you and rough rocks. Heavy-duty Crag Canvas looks new after climbing outdoors all season. The built-in Mountain Hardwear webbing belt and low-profile waist won't get in the way of your harness or chalk bag, and drawcord cuffs keep your pants dry when your approach takes you through a stream. The two rear pockets and the side pocket all zip shut so you can climb without losing your wallet and car keys.

Bottom Line: Sturdy pants for crag climbing in cool weather.

Mountain Hardwear Crap

By:

Pants came with a 'security clip' attached that could not be removed. I notified customer service yet was still accused by the return department of returning pants that were not purchased from here, my notes read "Loyal Customer, see notes. We will honor the customer's word". Wow, gee, thanks for believing me. These pants will fit fat tall people rather well if you can remove the security clip. Otherwise, sitting down might become an adventure.

Made in Vietnam, Made horrible.

These pants are made in Vietnam and made absolutely horrible. The sizing is completely off. The fabric is less than par. I would rather these companies not make pants at all then have to order and THEN return them. What a pain in the butt. Save yourself the time and buy some nylon pants at a retail store for god's sake.

baggy pants

I like this pants, they are conmfy and the material is durable. I like the small pocket on the side that I use to carry my phone. Unfortunately, Mountain Hardwear makes pants by Small, Medium, Large, etc. instead of using waist measurements. The pants are too big for me, but can't go the smaller size because it would be too small. I wish Mountain Hardwear would make sizing better.

These pants are the best thing I have found in quite some time. They fit right off the rack. Ultra comfortable. I don't climb, but thought I'd try them on anyways. Glad I did. I ordered 2 more pair from you guys Mountain Hardwear stuff is great!

Great, comfortable hiking pants

By:
July 15, 2007

I just returned from 2 weeks hiking in the Canadians Rockies and these pants held up great. No bunching, chaffing, snags or serious wear. They are a tad thick so if you live wear it's hot and humid they might be a bit too warm. Would be a near perfect pant if a thigh pocket was added to the left left similar to the right.

My favorite pants

Ok...so when you find a pair of pants that fit and wear as comfortable as these pants do you make sure you have more than one pair in your closet or drawer, or where ever you stash your clothes (I currently have 5 pair, of various colors). I don't have these for a specific activity. these are daily attire for me and they are Mountain Hardwear and they totally work!!!

Discomfort Killa!

By:
April 16, 2007

I've been a fan of Mountain Hardwear gear for a few years now, and these pants just reinforce why: they're comfortable, tough, stylish, well-designed, and the fit is spot on. I wear them to work, on weekends, and on the trail. I have two pairs, thr first of which snagged on a thorn bush or something, but they didn't rip very much at all (barely noticeable). Take care of them, and they'll last a good long time!

My favorite pants!!!!

I bought my first pair of these pants last fall. Since then I have bought 3 additional pair...they are great, by far the most comfortable pants I own. Whether sitting on a plane, kicking around town, at work, or an ad hoc hike....these pants gotcha covered.

Totally awesome pant.

One thing that is kinda hidden is the elastic adjuster around the bottom of the pant for when you need to hike up your pant when your climbing or heading to school and you don’t want your pant gunked up with grease. They are true to fit, don't worry about some weird sizing.
