Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Pant - Women's

Hike 20 miles, climb a tower, or just head out for sushi in the Mountain Hardwear Women's Cordillera Pant. The quick-dry lightweight pants have a natural feel thanks to the stretchy Switchback Plus fabric. It's made with a blend of nylon and elastane that makes it easy to heel hook while bouldering or scramble over some fallen trees while hiking. An adjustable draw-cord cuff lets you cinch up your pants for stream-crossing. Low-profile welded belt loops and a chamois-lined waist mean you can snug down your pack's waist belt without any extra friction.

Bottom Line: Hike a trail, paddle a lake, and climb a tower in one pair of pants.

Love the pants but way to roomy in the butt and hips. I'll be ordering them again in a smaller size.

Is this pant is recommended to wear alone or is it intended to wear over another cloth.
I will be in ski resort bringing my sons to snowboarding but I personally do not ski. The pants I am looking for are mainly to stay in tha snow areas that protects me from the cold weather. Please recommend me whatever you think could fit my interest. Thanks

Flag

Either way. It is made of a light softshell material and you can wear them alone or with long underwear/baselayer underneath if the weather is cold. Hope this helps...

A good pant for hiking

I got these in black and really like them. Despite the description, I would never wear them out or anywhere except for hiking because of the material. However, I do love them so for hiking. They have extra room in the knees and allow for a lot of movement. Plus, the material is very durable. I may or may not have slid down some through some bushes at one point, but the pants didn't snag, rip, or anything of the like. Also, I am in love with the soft chamois lined waist. The lined waist is not highly breathable, but it's very comfortable. On my second time wearing them, I was stuck in an unexpected horrendous rain storm. While they're not waterproof, they dry incredibly quickly and allowed me to be a lot more comfortable afterwards than I would have been otherwise.

great pants

I got these pants to wear as part of professional outdoor guide uniform because they look neat and tailored. The stretch material makes them fantastically comfortable for any activity. The lightness of the material makes them cool for a long pant. The stretch will allow layering in cold weather. I now basically live in them on and off the trails. Highly recommended.
