Mountain Hardwear Extend Featherweight Boxer - Men's

Play longer and have more fun in a pair of Mountain Hardwear Extend Featherweight Boxers. These fast-drying shorts have specially treated fibers to fight off odor. Ionized silver is permanently encapsulated within Extend's polyester and released when exposed to sweat. This compound's natural neutralizing abilities mean that you can wear these boxers longer between washings and that you won't be suffering from your own aroma after days on the trail. The flat stitching of this superfine material allows them to be worn every time you head out.

Bottom Line: Stay outside.

Great Wicking and Comfortable

I have several brands of boxer briefs including exofficio, ems, duo-fold, and UA and these MH Featherweight's are by far the most comfortable and best wicking that I own. I have backpacked with them in Alaska, Red Rock Canyon, Grand Canyon and the Florida Trail and getting ready for Yellowstone/Grand Tetons this summer. The odor is much less than others and they dry much quicker. Can't miss!!!

so comfortable, not as odor resistant as wool but much faster drying and lighter feeling. also at 2oz super light for ultra light outdoor activities.

I also purchased the Extend mid weight top and tights as well. as a set the work great. I snowshoed in the upper peninsula of michigan while wearing these and never took them off. we spent one night in sub-zero weather and they kept me warm and dry. i went to bed a little wet and they dried overnight (by my body heat) Nice and soft, and very confortable

Disappointed

I had to send these boxers back because the fly didn't stay shut. I liked the material but they weren't going to work for me.

Comfortable, wicks, but....

These are great base layer underwear. The fit is great, they wick moisture very well. However I think the stink protection is not really that great. I didn't notice any difference between these and other pairs from different brands. But lets face it, after a few days in the bush, you are gonna be stinky, a little bit of silver isn't going to stop that.

I really like the comfort and wicking of these featherweight layer. I wear them all the time in the spring, summer and fall when doing anything active. They work great for hiking, trail running, camping, etc. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and functional

These boxers fill a necessary niche in my base layer lineup. The fit is close, like a boxer brief, but they're long enough (about mid-thigh) to avoid riding up. They layer well under tights. The fabric is smooth and soft. So far, the anti-odor treatment has lived up to its billing: while not 100% stink-free after several days of continuous wearing, they're must less pungent than any other base layer fabric I've tried. In comparison, my older Patagonia Capilene boxers are nearly unwearable after just two days.
