Mountain Hardwear Hyperdry Tights - Women's

If you think base layers are itchy and uncomfortable, the Mountain Hardwear Women's HyperDry Tights will change your mind. These silk-weight long underwear are made for aerobic backcountry trips—they'll wick moisture away from your skin to the fabric's surface where it can evaporate. The base layer is light and dries fast; wear it while cross country or downhill skiing and for backpacking trips. Mountain Hardwear's design moves seams out of high abrasion areas, so you won't get pressure points when carrying packs or layering.

Bottom Line: A light, comfy base layer made to keep you dry in any climate.

Not bad, but fit could be better

Love the material of these tights, and they are great for running on a cool morning. My only complaint is the sizing and fit. I ordered a large based on the sizing chart, and it's just too big. That could be the main problem, but also, the fit is a little wierd too, and I kind of wish the waistband didn't ride *quite* so high. Still, a good purchase I think. I will know better with sizing next time.

mountain hardwear should rethink their sizes

The material felt great, as did the flat waistband... however, the butt on these pants sagged somewhere around my thighs. I had to roll the waistband three times to get it where it should be. Not my idea of a well fitting tight. (I'm 5'3" and 104) I didn't even bother to give these a chance after that.

Good warmth - fit a little strange.

Great base layer under my ski pants. My only complaint is that I found the part around the calf tight and not stretchy, while the waist was not tight enough so they kept sliding down. Also, the seams that run up the side of the tights rub badly against your waist. But warmth-wise they were great.

light base layer

I found these kept me quite warm, and so far they have maintained their basic shape through the laundry and four days straight use.
