To Beef Or Not To Beef

If you like small, crunchy, tough, salty cubes of beef, this is for you. Allow to rehydrate longer than the recommended ten minutes. This helps a bit. The onions & potatoes are somewhat palatable. Filling @ best.

I love Mountain House food, and potatoes 'n Beef is my favotite. I am a big eater, and if this is all I fix, then I eat both servings and it fills me up good.

Close second

By:

The House Potatoes 'n Beef is a close second on the best lightweight backpacker meal. House Lasagna with Meat Sauce is first. I don't think that either are large enough for two but afte a long day of hiking it sure hits the spot.
