Metolius Safe Tech Deluxe Harness - Women's

The Metolius Safe Tech Women's Deluxe Harness is one of the best fitting, safest harnesses in the world. The Women's Deluxe is a beefed up version of the All-Around and is designed to lend maximum support to the lower back while simultaneously providing unparalleled freedom of movement. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside with a tough 1050d Ballistics outer layer and a polyethylene foam with brushed inner lining, it is ideal for Big Wall and long Trad, or Sport routes where comfort is paramount. Metolius' sophisticated adjustment system lets you fine tune the fit by adjusting the riser length; that is the distance between the waist belt and the leg loops. Women generally have much longer riser lengths than Men, so this is particularly important for sizing Women's harnesses. This harness also boasts the world's toughest and longest wearing tie-in points. Every component, including leg risers, the gear, haul, and belay loops are engineered to withstand a load of at least 2250 lbf (10kN)—that's FULL strength and typically the max impact force rating of a modern climbing rope. **ABOUT SAFE TECH HARNESSES: Due to an alarming number of accidents involving the misuse of harnesses and/or the failure of harness components, Metolius designed their Safe Tech Series with every possible margin of safety in mind. A women's harness for a woman

Having owned only men's harnesses in the past I had no idea what comfort I was missing out on until I purchased the Safe Tech Deluxe Women's Harness. We took our annual trip to J-Tree, and being too busy to climb before we left, I wasn't able to try the harness out until we arrived. I was comfortable all day long, with no adjustment time to the harness, whatsoever. This thing is great! No fidgeting, fussing, pulling or readjusting needed. Thanks for a great product!

Metolius women's safe-tech harness

I bought this harness on the recommendation of a very experienced climber and have been very pleased with it. It is incredibly comfortable, and highly adjustable to fit different body shapes. The padding is in sensible places (particularly important to me as I have a hip condition) and it truly is beginner-proof in terms of its use and diagrams displaying how to tie-in safely (I'm English, they still let us tie in). The only problem I had was that I measured myself on the sizing chart and ended up with a harness that was too small - be a little generous with the sizing. Overall, very pleased.
