Merrell Chameleon Arc GTX XCR Shoe - Women's

If you need a trail shoe that'll give you waterproof protection on the trail, and that has a women's-specific, supportive midsole, look to the Merrell Women's Chameleon Arc Gore-Tex XCR Shoes. Merrells' Q-Form Midsole combines an air cushion with three separate zones of shock absorption and support. This system cradles your foot throughout your entire stride, from heel strike to take off. The Chameleon Arc Gore-Tex XCR Shoes' low profile cuts down on weight and won't strangle your ankles. The Gore-Tex construction blocks water while allowing excess heat to escape, and the Vibram sole provides traction as you breeze over wet leaves and rocky terrain.

Bottom Line: Conditions on the trail are always changing. The waterproof, supportive Merrell Chameleon Arc Gore-Tex XCR Shoes are ready.

"Broken in" comfortable on first wearing!

These shoes felt perfect right out of the box. Mud season is pretty rough where I live and I've completely switched to wearing these in my muddy yard and driveway rather than my knee-high rubber mud boots. I can't jump directly in puddles, but my feet have stayed warm and dry despite my very muddy springtime outdoor activities.

Well made shoes

My review on the shoes is a bit limited. I ordered a couple pair of these shoes (in different sizes) and couldn't quite get the right fit so I ended up sending both pairs back. I did wear them out on a couple messy weather days and could immediately tell that they were well made shoes and offered good stability on less than ideal conditions. Just couldn't find the right fit.

Merrell Lover

Just not the fit that you expect from a Merrell. It probably has to do with the Gore-Tex and whether you have the time to wear them in before you go on a major trip. The tongue is very stiff, otherwise a great shoe
