Marmot Randonee Mitt - Women's

The Marmot Women's Randonnee Mitts keep your hands nice and warm on 10F ski days. After all, frigid days are when the powder is the best. PrimaLoft One insulation provides the warmth you need without adding too much bulk. These Marmot mitts' waterproof breathable Gore-Tex XCR material ensures complete moisture protection. The Randonnee Mitts also have rugged palms for supreme durability and a solid grip on your skis and poles.

Bottom Line: Don't let cold weather keep you from amazing powder.

These are not true mittens!

These mitts have fleece finger separators inside of them -- essentially gloves with mitten covers! After just 10 minutes, my pinkies were ice cold because they were separated from the rest of my fingers. I do live in an area with extreme winters (it was -35 the other morning), but I do not have any hand circulation problems. You need thick, waterproof mittens with your fingers together for maximum warmth, especially if you participate in winter sports. The finger slots inside also prevent you from putting in chemical heat packs (if you want/need to). My previous mitts (five years ago) from Marmot were awesome, but these have been returned.

Very warm and durable

When the temperature drops below about 15 degrees I usually opt to take these with me for my resort skiing and backcountry use. I put a thin liner underneath when I need to take off the mittens to tie or take something off. Held up very well and kept me very warm and dry.

Warm mitts!

I have these Marmot mitts from a couple years ago. They are pretty warm and really waterproof. I like the leather stuff on the palms, since I ski they grip the poles really well. I do think there is a little too much room inside the actual mitt, so they aren't as warm as they could be. But I've had them for awhile and they're definitely quality.
