Yes, in fact to zip together two sleeping bags, they need to be opposite side zippers (LH/RH). Also if the two bags aren't the exact same one, or the male and female of the same one, then make sure they are the same zipper type.

The two are the same length (198cm) but the xtra wide has more room (bigger circumference) and is only a bit heavier. Check the Tech Specs for the details.
