Marmot Twilight 2-Person Tent w/ Footprint and Gear Loft

Large double vestibules, two doors, and tons of interior space make the Marmot Twilight 2-Person 3-Season Tent a top choice for rainy days in camp. The Twilight Tent easily holds your backpacks, shoes, and other gear under the 21.7sq feet of vestibule space, and the steep end walls allow campers to sit up for an intense card game. Marmot used a clip pole system on this double-wall tent to make setup fast and simple because seconds count when rain starts soaking your gear.

Bottom Line: Make sure you have the Marmot Twilight Tent on your backpacking trip, so you don't dread time in camp if a storm hits.

I received this tent in February and have taken it out on two weekend trips. The first trip was in late March in northern Missouri and I brought my two year old son and five year old daughter with me. We all 3 fit very comfortably. The weather dipped below freezing for a few hours overnight, but with proper cold weather sleeping bags we didnt feel the nip except for bathroom visits(numerous). My second trip was in early April at Paddy Creek in the Mark Twain Nat'l. Forest in the Ozarks. The rains came promptly as expected and I was able to test the rain fly and stakes as the winds were steady for a bit as well. There was no hint of moisture inside, the fly kept me plenty dry, and from inside I could hardly tell the wind was blowing at all. I really like this tent, and it seems to be perfect for warm weather, and works well in cold sprintime conditions as long as you pack a good quality sleeping bag. I really enjoyed viewing the stars at night throught the mesh top while drifting off to sleep, in fact...I would never have noticed the Bald Eagle 200 ft away in the morning if I had been using any other tent! You wouldnt use this tent in snowy conditions, but you wouldn't want anything else for the rest of the year. Excellent tent!
