Marmot Neve Sweater - Women's

This coat is my winter staple. I got it in the green color and wear it everyday in the winter. It is very warm and goes with a lot of differnt outfits. It cleans nicely in the washing machine and comes out looking brand new. I have had this coat for a whole season and still looks brand new! I love this coat!

Nice shaped jacket, stylish- not too bulky. Should be very warm.

I bought this coat for my wife and she loves it. She is really picky about fit and this one has a really nice shape. She has not been able to really put it to the test because it is summer but I am sure it will be warm.

I tried a number of down jackets before deciding on the Neve Sweater. It is instantly warm - a little puffy - but that was what I was looking for. It is less puffy than the Marmot Mountain Down - but doesn't have the down hood. Just a nylon hood. I'm on the petite side, so the length was perfect. The sleeves are just a little longer than I'd like - but would be good for a more average size person. This jacket is tailored, but still puffy and warm.

The coat is pretty and full down warmth comfort. I was hoping for a light weight packable "sweater", so it is slightly misnamed. It is a good value for a down coat, but is not something to fold in a backpack to x-country ski or backpack. It is better to store in a Thule car top storage.

This coat is so very warm. I got it to keep my back warm on cold days, I had back surgery and the cold weather bothers it. It keeps my back feeling good, loose and warm. Lacing up my boots in the cold, my back is warm, driving to work at 5:45 am I am warm! It is pretty puffy and big like a typical down coat. If you want one that is not as puffy look at the Marmot Ama Dablam Jacket. Same down fill but way less puffy in how it is stitched. Marmot tends to run shorter in the waist. It does not run like a ski coat which hits lower in the hips. Overall good coat. I like it a lot.

This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. It is the first down coat I've had where you don't feel like a marshmallow; the cut of the jacket is great too. It comes just to your waist, so it feels sporty. It is very warm and cozy as well. It is a great, quality jacket for colder temps.

The Neve sweater was too boxy for me. I think that the people who design down jackets for women ought to make them a bit longer and not cut off at or above the waist. With a back pack on, the boxy cut rides up a bit longer and the waist strap would fit over the jacket. Otherwise the waist strap and the bottom of the jacket are in constant struggle with the coat being pushed up over the waist strap and causing annoyance and cold air and this takes away from concentrating on the climb. The shoulders are too wide and make one's head look like a pin.

The Neve Sweater is hardly a sweater at all. It is the warmest winter jacket I've ever owned. I love Marmot outwear. It's much better quality and style than Northface. It's actually designed for women. I highly recommend Marmot and this jacket.
