Marmot Diva 55 Backpack - Women's - 3200-3400cu in

The Marmot Diva 55 Women's Backpack easily carries all your gear for the weekend thanks to 3400cu inches of cargo space and a comfortable pre-curved suspension system. Load up the Diva 55 Backpack with your tent, sleeping bag, stove, food, water, and clothes to enjoy a weekend in the woods away from it all. The compression-molded back panel transfers the pack's load to the split-wrap waist-belt to ease stress on your shoulders while you enjoy your hike. Marmot also gave this backpack a removable top lid for more aggressive outings where weight becomes more important.

Bottom Line: Make your weekend of hiking comfortable by packing your gear in the Marmot Diva 55 Backpack.

The lack of torso adjustment really hit home for me. I'm a short woman, but I'm not abnormally short legged or short torsoed, and while I haven't measured myself for a pack, I thought it was reasonable that a small pack would be a good fit. Wrong. The allegedly 16" torso for the S was too long and could not be adjusted. Moreover, the "removable" top cover design was really weird and made it a little challenging to adjust the shoulder stability straps. The pack also lacks side water bottle pockets, so mine were clipped on and swaying as I walked, although the pack is supposed to be hydration pack compatible (I didn't test this). The pluses for the pack are the separate sleeping bag compartment and mesh pockets on the waist belt.
