It doesn't look like it has an internal pocket. I know that MH puts internal pockets in many of their jackets so you could take a look at their vests.
EDIT: my new TNF Apex Elixir vest has an internal pocket. It also has two front hand pockets and a drawcord hem. Check it out. So far, it's been great and I'll post the review soon.
