Marmot Randonee Glove - Men's

Go for the Marmot Men's Randonnee Gloves for durability, dexterity, and warmth on those first-to-last-chair ski days. Gore-Tex XCR waterproof breathable material ensures your hands stay dry while the low-bulk PrimaLoft One insulation keeps them toasty without decreasing dexterity. The Randonnee Gloves' Pittards goatskin palms are incredibly durable and provide excellent grip on your ski poles. Don't choose between warmth and dexterity; get both with these Marmot gloves.

Bottom Line: The Marmot Randonnee Gloves easily take on any day of intense skiing you can throw at them.

Totally warm

By: Anonymous(2)
March 4, 2008

My hands used to be one of the coldest parts of my body when I skied, but now they're the warmest. Not the very best in terms of finger dexterity, but adequate for most tasks and a good tradeoff for keeping my hands warm and dry.

I need a size large in the Marmot Randonee Glove. Where do I...

I need a size large in the Marmot Randonee Glove. Where do I choose that option? I didn't see it.

Flag

Looks like they're out of them at the moment, might have to wait for this year's model to come in.

WARM AND TOASTY

By: Anonymous(2)
February 26, 2008

I bought these to replace my Kombi gloves that I've had for 10 years. My main concern was warmth and dexterity. Because of the gauntlet, they were bulkier than my previous gloves, but the dexterity was better than my old gloves. I bought them last month and have only used them twice so far, both times in great weather. Because the days I skied were warm, the gloves have not been truly tested. However, my hands were warm and dry all day. I trust the Gore-Tex and PrimaLoft will prove their worth in stromy weather. My only wish was that they had a little more dexterity and I may have been better ordering a Medium rather than a Large (my hand's girth measured right between the size range for Medium & Large).

Best gloves ever

These gloves are warm, comfortable and have a nice grip because of the leather inner surface. Also absolutely waterproof because of the Gore-Tex.

4 Years Riding

I have had these gloves for 4+ seasons now and they are still in phenomenal shape. Both front and back country as well as kite-boarding happen comfortably in all conditions. No liners necessary until ~10 degrees F or less.

the best pair of gloves I have ever owned. This is my second pair, only 'cause my dog ate the first pair. Thats how good they are, even animals love 'em.

Excellent!

Awesome glove! Very warm and very dry. Dexterity isn't the greatest, but it isn't that bad either. I can grap zipper pulls and strap my bindings so that is all that really matters.

love them

First ski gloves I've had that are warm and dry. Usually, if the gloves are warm enough, my hands will sweat and then they get cold. These gloves transported the moisture away from my skin -- even in wet conditions. Love them

Warm but not durable

By: JohnJ80(4)

I've had 3 pairs of these. The first two pairs were because they tore out between the fingers (index and middle finger). I'm hard on gloves, but these started tearing in the first two weeks of use. However, these are warm. My wife also has them and has not had the durability problem that I have had. I must just have bionic fingers or something. ;) I give them high marks for warmth and it would be higher if they were more durable.

A workhorse of a glove

I have put these gloves to some serious abuse during the winter seasons and they still are holding up very strong. My fingers stay warm in them in all but the coldest conditions (10 Degrees and below). I have used many gloves and the way these are cut keep me happy and my fingers warm. Good dexterity but could be a bit better.
