Marmot Northshore Ski Jacket - Kids'

The Marmot Boys' Northshore Ski Jacket protects your kid from rain, snow, sleet, hail, and freezing temperatures on the ski hill and on the walk to school. Its waterproof breathable PreCip shell keeps him dry and comfortable, and the Northshore Jacket's removable 200-weight fleece liner provides excellent warmth. The shell or liner can also be worn by themselves for rainy summer days, chilly spring afternoons.

Bottom Line: Give your child the jacket to take on any nasty weather—the Marmot Northshore Ski Jacket.

The Northshore ski jacket is perfect for many outdoor uses. The two jackets worn together provide warmth and wind/water protection. My six year old wore the jacket everyday for a one-week ski trip to Chile. Then, we returned to California to go backpacking in the Sierras. The fleece layer was perfect for the chilly evenings and the shell was much needed in the surprise showers. I recommend this jacket for young and old(er) outdoor enthusiasts.

Marmot jacket

Purchased for my 10 year old son for his first backcountry snowshoe adventure in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during the February school vacation. Coat performed flawlessly - weather conditions were cold and windy (felt like -5F)- kept him warm and dry. He enjoyed the zip out liner and the easy access pockets. Coat design provided good mobility. One draw back to the design is the absence of a powder skirt. His backpack waist belt kept the coat closed, but when pack came off, he mentioned some drafts. Overall, excellent product you would expect from Marmot
