Mammut Bionic Carabiner - 2008
Mammut designed the Bionic Carabiner with a unique shape to help the rope pull tight directly below the sling and load the spine in the strongest orientation. You'll take comfort knowing your 'biner stays locked correctly when you pitch off 20 feet above gear. Mammut also gave the Bionic Carabiner a Keylock gate for extremely easy snag-free clipping and un-clipping. Then they used I-beam construction on the body to reduce the weight to 34 grams.
Bottom Line: Mammut introduces a new design for improved safety with the Bionic Carabiner.

I'm trying to find a source for Mammut Express Set Bionic
I'm trying to find a source for Mammut Express Set Bionic safewire, 10 cm Dyneema draws. These are apparently available in the EU, and there are two or three links allegedly to them on stateside sites. Those all lead here, eventually, to a page without this product on it. Is this a web glitch, or is this product really not imported?

Mine works well

I am not using this for climbing but rather to clip things to my pack with when I go touring. I bought the straight gate version, and have been really happy with it. It is really light, and feels really solid. I clip my gloves and nalgene or klean kanteen bottle to my pack and it works really well. It's been really convenient, and glad I decided to get it and use it in this manner. Really secure too.
