Macpac thought of through-hikers and fastpackers when they created the Amp Light 35 Pack. Using ultralight Titan Grid fabric and a minimal-but-still-supportive suspension system, Macpac managed to shave this backpack's weight to a mere 2.5lbs. Three large mesh pockets provide places to stash your shell, snacks, and other necessities, so you don't have to dig through the whole bag when you need another layer. Of course, the Amp Light 35 Pack includes a hydration pouch to keep water readily available. Stopping to drink just takes way too much time.

MacPac sizing is hard to understand. For example, they say the...

MacPac sizing is hard to understand. For example, they say the back length for their largest size is 15 to 19 in, and the height range is 6 ft 1.5 in to 6 ft 6.5 in. Who would be that tall and have a torso length that short? I don't know which measurement to go by. Any clues, especially for size 3?
