Lowe Alpine TFX Summit ND 65+15 Pack - 4000cu in - Women's

Pack your gear in the Lowe Alpine women's specific TFX Summit ND 65 Backpack and head out on your weeklong trek. With the tapered shoulder straps, plus a lumbar pad and waist-belt engineered for the female form, you'll stay comfortable all week. The Summit's narrow back and adjustable hip-belt allows women to get a custom fit. Extend the back length to suit your size, fill the TFX Summit ND Pack's 4,000-cubic-inch cargo space with your tent, sleeping bag, and food, and hit the trail. As you hike along, pump up or deflate Lowe Alpine's lumbar pad using the bulb on the hip-bekt. This pad gives you custom lower-back support. Two zip-out divider compartments organize your gear, and the extendable lid converts into a belt pack for short hikes.

Bottom Line: Lowe Alpine's TFX Summit ND 65 Backpack gives all you a comfortable, custom-fitting pack for your weeklong summit trips.

Depending how long you plan to be out but a 5000 cu. in. pack is a good all around size for a week +.

Other websites and Lowe Alpine.com say the pack's volume in 4900 cu in, why is backcountry listing it as 4000?

65 litres = 4000 cu in. The +15 in the pack name is Lowe's way of saying you can extend the packs colar and top pocket to get you an extra 15 litres of packable space. This would give the pack a total capacity of 80 litres = 4900 cu in.

what does the zip-out divider compartments mean?
and is there a front access?

Inside the pack there is a divider that can be zipped in or out to create either a seperate sleeping bag compartment, that some people like to have, or just one big bag, which others prefer. Front access is available through the sleeping bag zipper only.
